I hardly have chance to rest during this semester break. One of the very important events is to co-present a conference paper with my wife Joon Ling. We had just attended the Malaysia International Conference on Foreign Languages (MICFL) on 1 & 2 December 2010 at Universiti Putra Malaysia.
The title of our paper was PENGARUH BAHASA DAN PENGGUNAAN MEDIA DALAM PEMBENTUKAN IDENTITI WIRA DALAM KALANGAN PELAJAR-PELAJAR CINA SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEBANGSAAN. We presented this paper in trilingual – The intro was in English, the content as in line with the title was in Bahasa Malaysia, and the Q&A was in Mandarin.
No matter how busy I am, I know I have record this historical event – The beginning of the togetherness of Tan Joon Ling and Chang Peng Kee in academic life…
